Dependence of electrochemical properties of ionic liquids on dissolved gas concentration

Name of research institute or organization:
Kyoto University

Title of project:

Dependence of electrochemical properties of ionic liquids on dissolved gas concentration

Project leader and team:
Naoya NISHI

Project description:

Cyclic voltammograms are recorded for the redox reaction of ferrocene (Fc) at the interface between gold electrode and ionic liquids at the top of Mt. Fuji during summer in 2014. The diffusion coefficients in the bulk and the standard redox constants for Fc will be evaluated and compared with those in ambient pressure.

Our mission

The mission of MFRS is to support and enhance the activities of researchers and students in various fields of science and education by maintaining and providing a unique Research Station atop Mt. Fuji.
