I collected aerosol particles at the summit on 14?16 July 2018, using 0.2 μm pore size filters and a vacuum pump. The time span of the collection was about four hours to meet the lowest volume of air around 1 m3 but sometimes made shorter due to strong wind. Eventually, I got ten samples of aerosol particles. I am going to isolate microbes (bacteria and fungi) from the samples. Isolated microbes will be examined for their ice-nucleating activity with different incubation temperatures. Unfortunately, I cannot start any experiments yet due to delay in administrative processing at the university. I expect that at least the first results will come out until the end of this fiscal year.
